Celebrate and support your county parks with a donation to the Allegheny County Parks Foundation.

Support your parks the most sustainable way by making a recurring monthly gift that will support your favorite parks all year long.

How does it work? When you make a recurring monthly gift to the Allegheny County Parks Foundation, you will receive a confirmation email of your first payment. Each month thereafter, you will be charged on the same day of the month as your initial payment. For example: If you make your first gift on September 4, you will be charged on October 4. Each month you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of your recent automatic monthly gift. At the end of the year, you may request a formal acknowledgement for tax purposes by contacting Caitlin Harpster at 724.327.7627 or charpster@acparksfoundation.org.

What if my information changes? If your credit/debit card expires, your billing address changes or you wish to stop your monthly gift, please contact the Allegheny County Parks Foundation to update your information.

Make a memorial donation or honor someone you care about with a gift that provides support to Allegheny County’s parks.

If your gift is in honor of someone special and you wish for them to be notified of your gift, you can provide their home or email address. A note from the Allegheny County Parks Foundation will be sent to them informing them of your gift. No gift amount will be disclosed to the honoree unless specifically noted by the donor.

Sculpture Garden at Hartwood Acres
The outdoor sculpture collection at Hartwood Acres Park is a significant asset for the region. In the 1980s, 12 large outdoor sculptures were donated by artists; a 13th sculpture was added more recently. Your donation will help with much-needed expert restoration of these works and the creation of the new Hartwood Acres Sculpture Garden, which will include ADA-accessible walkways connecting the sculptures, new landscape plantings and reconfigured driveways and parking area, designed to “green” principles.

Suffragist Grove at Hartwood Acres
Help create the Suffragist Grove at Hartwood Acres! In August 2020, a tulip poplar was the first tree to be planted as part of a future grove at Hartwood Acres to commemorate the passage of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution giving women the right to vote in 1920. All donations will support the creation of a Suffragist Grove on the mansion grounds.

Every year, the Allegheny County Parks Foundation plants trees in all nine county parks in partnership with Allegheny County. You can help reforest our parks too by making a contribution to the Parks Foundation’s Tree Fund. The Tree Fund is a great way to recognize someone special, honor someone’s birthday or remember a loved one.
