South Park Race Information

Packet Pick Up

Packet pick up will be held on Saturday, August 5, starting at 8 am until the start of the race.  Race-day packet pick up will be at the Museum Building on the South Park Fairgrounds Oval on Brownsville Road across from the Park office.  Please click here for a map of the area.

You will request your t-shirt size during packet pick up.

Directions and Parking

For directions to the Park, click here.  The race will start and finish at the Museum Building located on the old South Park Fairgrounds Oval. To reach the Museum Building, turn off Brownsville Road across from the Park Office. Look for the big clock at the top of the Museum Building! Parking will be available in lots around the Museum Building and also at the Midway Parking Lot on Brownsville Road located above the Fairgrounds Oval. Volunteers will be available to assist you.  Please follow their directions.

Course Information

Please click here for a course map.  This is a trail race and the map is not 100% accurate.  The course was measured and is approximately a 10K in distance. 

The course will be marked a few days before the race in case you would like to run it prior to August 5. There will be two water stops on the course.  Water stops will be located at the 2.5, 4.1, and 5.2 mile points.

Please join us back at the Museum Building for Bagels and Brews by sponsored by Spoonwood Brewing.   Enjoy a “Beermosa” or just a refreshing Marmalade Wheat (which is an American Wheat Ale brewed with orange zest and Mandarina hops, 4.9% ABV).  REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PHOTO ID.  WE WILL BE CHECKING.

Awards and Medals

Each runner will receive a medal.  Age group, Overall, and Masters winners will be announced and winners will receive a label for their medals.  Awards will be given at the Museum Building.

Special Guests

County Executive Rich Fitzgerald will be on hand to start the race and to cheer on the runners.
